So I am back

As promised, I am going to proceed blogging after submitting a post. So it's already 9 pm here. I still have a lot of things to do. One is to prepare "lumpia" for tomorrow. My select friends and I are planning to hang out for lunch at Ate Josie's house. I hate to go because it's my husband's day-off and we want to spend our time with our lil girl. It's fine with him though. Anyway, we still can spend time with each other for the rest of the hours. With regards to EC dropping, I have dropped already. What I find most interesting is that reading other views and perception from bloggers alike. I make it as my everyday activity now. This is the only way I can gain a higher rank to get more job assignments. So people, thanks for the visit and your time. Signing-off.

It's been awhile

I was gone for several days. Meaning no updates were made on both my blogs. My interest was lost when I saw the low payouts in the advertising network I depend on. Today I checked my SS dashboard. Luckily, I was able to reserve two opportunities. Take note that the offer is almost 15 bucks each. Excited as I am, I hurriedly composed the first one. So here I am composing again for an interim. While doing so, my husband is at my back. Reading or just being nosy. He laughed when I noticed and defended himself lol. So funny! We both have our own computers. So sharing is just our common crap. Alright, I gotta end this now. I still have one more to compose. I'll get back.

Reminiscing

On photo are my two sisters, brother with wife (in blue towel) and yours truly(yellow towel). If I am not mistaken, that day was the last time I was in the beach and it was during our family reunion (2006) in Kawas, Sarangani Province, Philippines -- one of the cheapest in terms of entrance fee and yet a gorgeous place. Eco-friendly people appreciate it because of the preserved mangrove and coconut trees. What I am really after for is the huge wave which happens mostly in the afternoon. Wanna know the childish in me? Alright! here we go. From the moment I stepped my feet on the sand down to the water, I felt like I wanted to stay there for a very long time. If you haven't asked, I am a beach addict. In result, my already dark skin became sooooo dark and burnt. Oh, how Im missing to be back there. Can't wait to be back home next year.

Teething

My husband has been telling me since that ups and downs are part of raising a child. Now that my Dannielle is teething, my heart breaks everytime she feels uncomfortable. Tonight is the worst I've ever have and so is my daughter. This is the first time that she just wanna be held and cries if I put her down. I checked her temperature and she's fine. So I checked her lower gum and it's swelling. I did my best to ease her pain but seems it's not enough. It's almost 9 in the evening and she is still awake. Now she is with her dada playing. I am glad her attention is focused on the other thing. Hope she'll be alright.

I've been tagged by Hazel. Thanks gurl! Here are the rules: 1. Go to your Picture Folder on your computer or wherever you store your pictures. 2. Go to the 6th Folder and then pick the 6th Picture. 3. Post it on your blog and tell the story that goes with the picture. 4. Tag 5 other glorious people to do the same thing and leave a comment on their blog telling them about it. On photo is my husband when he was 24 years old. He was in the marines then. Obviously, he is in the barracks or whatever with all the posters posted on the wall lol. He said he did not post the one's in his right. Hmn... defensive? As if I care, I told him. Just last week, we were scanning and compiling his old photos and the above is just one.

Life and death

If losing an Uncle or other relative hurts and letting go is hard, how much more if you lose your own child? I happened to talk to my grandmother during the wake of my Uncle. She was telling me she can not accept what happened. It's killing her to see her lifeless son. And that it hurts more than she lost our grandfather. She didn't stay on the line for quite long as she broke down and fainted. Anyway, let's talk about the death of John Travolta and Kelly Preston's son, the 16-year old Jett. According to the reports released by the Bahamas funeral, seizure is the reason of his death. The family left the Bahamas island Monday night after receiving the urn with their son's ashes and is now back in Florida with the remains of their 16-year-old son. As I end this post, I want to leave my sympathy to the grieving family. Condolences!

New year, new self

The hubby and I are on the process of fulfilling our New Year's resolution...that is to lose weight. We gained a lot of weight especially on his part. Last year was very unhealthy. We did not mind what we put in our mouths. It started when I got pregnant. It was my fault, I must admit. I dragged him to eat this and that while I do my business, too. Why we have to this? First and foremost, we want a healthy and longer life for Dannielle. We want to be a good example for her. Also, most of our clothes snug and purchasing more is beyond our budget. Now we realize that cutting junk foods out from our list saves us money. Today, I told hubby I wanted coke but he did not get me one from the store. He said, "it's unhealthy". So do you have your new year's resolution?

Newest addition to the Pacquiao's

Image
Together with his family, boxing champ Manny Pacquiao welcome the newest addition to the family. His wife, Jinkee gave birth to a bouncing baby girl they named Queen Elizabeth. I am just thinking why they named their baby as such. Are they trying to get the attention of the royal family? hmn.. might be. Nevertheless, the Pacquiao's are very blessed this year. Congratulations, kabayan! Hope to see you in Gensan on my visit.
