Jacques D’Azur : the comeback

Image
This is a Sponsored Post written by me on behalf of goviral . All opinions are 100% mine. The impeccably dressed Jacques D’Azur in his perfectly tailored suit. The legend of Cannes Festival, Jacques D’Azur, is reported missing last February of this year, 2010. 'Til this very day, there are controversies that people won't just give a period despite of the given fact that he recently vanished at sea while manning his yacht off the coast of Tahiti. His followers are still thinking that he did not  vanished, D’Azur is just slowing down from the limelight and that  he's attending the Cannes Festival this year and on the coming years. Well, this is the answer to that.  Jacques D’Azur is coming back in the person of his lucky heir. While the King of Cannes is missing, the search for his heir continues and whoever takes the throne shall inherit the glamor and luxury that he lived in during his reign. The luckiest man will experience a weekend at the Cannes Festival and wi

Birdie rearing

Image
A couple of weeks ago, hubby, little one and I were at my in-laws to pay 'em a visit. The weather was so perfect that time, 'lil windy and sunny, so we stayed in the porch to have a chit chat. While talking about just anything, I spotted a mother bird feeding her 'lil birdies with pieces of bread that mother-in-law had scattered in the yard. So, I hurriedly grabbed my camera and took pictures of the mother bird's motherly gestures. Mother bird even took the lil birdies poopie out of the bird's house after feeding. Mama Birdie is making sure everything is safe before feeding her lil ones. Any human movements makes her fly away and comes back when she feels it is fine. Mama Birdie watching her 'lil ones 'til feeding time is over. I admire the way birds take care of their babies. So sweet to look at that I thought birds are better mothers than humans. They take care of their babies 'til the day they can live on their own, not abandon 'em. There a

Play the Charade

Image
This is a Sponsored Post written by me on behalf of goviral . All opinions are 100% mine. Guess what I have been doing for the last ten minutes? I have been trying to guess the name of the song given at www.mailstat.co.uk. It's just a practice but tell you that I could be sweating right now if the air conditioner is not on. I need to give my best shot here before I can proceed to the actual guessing game, the CHARADE. Whew! It's harder than I thought, huh. Charade - 500 styles is a guessing game where in clues are given through hand gestures. It surely makes a mind to think deeper and broader. There is no given time to answer the test but then of course, the faster a player guesses clues, the more fun and more chances of winning a free music for a year with a premium We7 subscription ! There is no cost at all in joining the Charade - 500 styles. Just be ready for the hands, though. So, if you like mind games, I think you would love Charade. Log on to the website today,

Hubby's new hobby

Image
This is one of hubby's output last night. He's been playing with photos, customizing 'em into different scenarios and themes. The backgrounds are available, he just pasted a photo or two then customized it to his desired location and all to fit into the space. I forgot the website, though. Being a computer buff and watching sports on TV are hubby's tiny flaws, minor flaws that ain't causing a fire between us. When he's not working or doing yard work, his butt is stuck on his computer chair, browsing websites that sell knives. So now that he's into this fun photo customization, it doesn't affect me. It is better this way than spend his time in night bars and drink and smoke. Back to the picture, that's exactly the role of the 'lil one. Ain't no telling but she is the boss. One day, she'll be kicking me off this house lol. Of course, I am not allowing her to be that disobedient and disrespectful when she gets older. Discipline and prayers a

Date Night on April 9th, 2010

Image
This is a Sponsored Post written by me on behalf of 20th Century Fox . All opinions are 100% mine. What if a group of people point a gun on me and the hubby after having an awesome night out? Oh boy, I don't wanna think of what's going to transpire realistically. Anyway, what I mentioned above is similar to the Date Night Movie , starred by Steve Carell and Tina Fey, both terrific actors. The the only difference is that the situation is fictional and most case scenario, it happens only in a movie. I first saw the movie's trailer in the movie theater and several times on TV. And since I couldn't get over it, I had to watch the trailer over and over again on Youtube. The video is embedded above for your convenience. The movie Date Night is about a bored couple who go out for a weekly dinner date but end up in a peculiar situation, I mean literally scary. The most intriguing part is that how they get themselves in a situation where gunmen are after them, chasing t

Time to book

Image
Been vocal about my Philippine vacation with hubby and 'lil one. Got one more thing to do though before I can say that the vacation is set. I need to book a room to stay in General Santos City, my hometown, and that's what I am gonna do in a little while. I opted Tierra Montana over East Asia Royale Hotel, Sydney Hotel, Filipino Hotel, Country Homes and other small hotels in the heart of the city. A standard room with two beds, free breakfast, wi-fi, cabled flat screen LCD TV and other amenities is only Php 1,450.00 a night. THe hotel is close to Jollibee, CHowking, Hospital and a whole lot more. The picture below is owned by the hotel and all rights reserved for such. I just wanna share what a standard room looks like and what we are partially getting for the price we are paying. What do ya think?

Chipmunks: The Squeakquel DVD is waiting

Image
This is a Sponsored Post written by me on behalf of Alvin and the Chipmunks . All opinions are 100% mine. Two days ago, Sunday, was hubby's free day. Free day means pig out and he can eat all he can after a two-week-diet. It's his way of consoling his mind and body. So Friday, hubby and I with the 'lil one went to this famous store, Wal dash mart, for food shopping. As we entered the store, these new released DVDs and Blue-Rays right by the entrance were spotted by my animated movie buff husband. As usual, he stopped by the movie rack and looked at the DVD titles. He'd been waiting for two movies and finally, it's available now. These DVDs, The Blind Side and Alvin and the Chipmunks: The Squeakquel are amongst 'em. He wanted to buy the latter so bad but I had to stop him. We can't spend over $50 that day for some reasons. He promised himself he's gonna get it the next time we're going back to the store, and that is tomorrow, Wednesday. Anyway, my
