The answer lies on LiveTV4me.com

It is known to most of my readers that I grew up in the Philippines, spent twenty-five years of my life there. Almost three years ago, I moved to USA and the rest is history. In that length of time, I am not conformed suitably to the American lifestyle yet. Food, weather and television shows are amongst that I haven't embraced fully. Yes, there are hundreds of channels that my television has but none of those are the TV shows that I used to watch when I was still living in my homeland.

My current cable provider does not cater Filipino channels. THere is no way that I will be switching to another provider just to have the channels I want. It is not a good idea either knowing that Louisiana weather is so unpredictable with all the hurricanes and storms in most months, causing too much outage. One more thing is the note of over $100 a month. Tsk...I won't pay that much just for the cable. I'd rather wait for the uploaded videos on some networking sites online to watch some of the Philippine television shows than pay much. The downfall is that the videos are not updated so chances are, there are so many series that are missed. Also, some of the videos are vague.

But after learning about this awesome website, livetv4me.com, where I could watch my favorite tv shows online, there is something that pushes me to make a purchase. I am thinking to get the software that would literally costs me $39 only for over 1000 channels worldwide including my favorite Philippine TV shows. The payment is a one time fee and the software takes no time to download. For as little as 3 minutes, the process is done. So cheap. No hassles. So easy. This might work for me.

If anyone here does not do their research they are blindsided by this company. First of all, go onto the Live Help chat and ask them just what channels you will get in your lineup! Their response will be we don't publish the list because it is constantly changing. We also don't own the stations only the rights to the software. So let me ask this... Who would want to pay for a service, find a channel they like only to have it go away in a week or 2..??

Also read the fine print in the terms and conditions (or do what i did and search for refund) they will not refund your money for any reason. So once you pay for the software even if you can't find your favorite channel (which you wont) they wont give you your money back. This software is nothing but a wrapper for online services which offer live tv over the internet.

Be sure to ask what channels you get before you buy, even better ask if they offer a couple of your stations like Fox, TruTV, NESN, MSNBC, CNN, etc they will tell you they don't this is because these stations you get on CABLE are not public domain!!! why do you think the cable companies costs are what they are? Because they have to pay for the stations too!! I am so sick of people finding easy ways to scam others. Even better they pulled this blogger into the mix by paying for this review, notice the sponsored post badge at the bottom that means this person was paid for the review.

I turned them in for spamming me to my ISP. (Atleast it'll get logged and maybe a few hundred more folks will do the same). You can go to Hulu and get alot of content for free IF you don't mind seeing your fave shows say a day or two later (Sports is kind of a bummer seeing a game you already know the outcome of BUT I like watching hockey SO I can live with the delayed broadcasts of it).

It's like Magic Jack..Sometimes it works. But most of the time, it'll dial, then start cutting up and out halfway thru the call. The device is flaky, they never ever add extra numbers/exchanges as promised. Skype is easier and better if you have to have a computer to make a call thru...

Thanks for reporting this SCAM...

Thank you so much for the comments on livetv4me and on magic jack!

My husband was wanting me to buy the magic jack, and it is nice to know I was right about it.

I SO want to be able to watch British tv here in America! Does anyone know of a good way to make this possible???

Magic Jack actually works, but not quite as good as advertised (like most things). The catch with Magic Jack is that the software is really picky, and doesn't always get along with the computer. Some people like it, some don't, its a gamble of sorts.
The LiveTV4me on the other hand, is a barely legal scam. The idea behind it is a scam. The fine print barely legalizes the software. Throughout the fine print, it indicates that you will not be able to rely on ANY channel being there. And most of the channels are foreign and blurry. Save your $40.00, or better yet, go buy a pizza, or something that you can enjoy.

The comments above are spams, I believe. I tried tracking these people but they are not accessible.

I CAN ALSO ENJOY WITH MY KIDS THE KIDS CHANNELS. FOR 39.95 I MEAN IT CAN BE THAT BAD OF COURSE NO PREMIUMS LIKE SHOWTIME BUT THEY ALWAYS HAVE THE SAME MOVIES ANYWAYS. I CAN SAY THAT I LIKE IT

I'm a 73 yr old woman, love my MagicJack! I divide my time between a northern state and Florida, and take my MJ with me when I travel. You can choose a phone number from your home area code, so no matter where I am, my family can call without long distance charges. Plus, anyone can ring you up, hang up, and you can call them back on the MJ and talk for hours, all for $1.70 a month. Works great with my MacBook Pro.
